Cubs District Six a Side Football Tournament

When I got up it was chucking it down with rain but luckily it stopped before the matches. When I got to Lordship Farm school I got changed and we were all given dark blue bibs to play in. Our first match was against 12th. We won 2-1. Second match was a by cos 11th forfitted their game by not turning up, so every team got 2 points. 3rd match was against 1st Baldock. 4th match was against 2nd Baldock. 5th match was 4th Letchworth. 6th Match was 5th Letchworth - we won - Arkela was very pleased ! 7th match was 7th Letchworth. Their goalie made some great saves but we won.
Our goalie, Lewis, only let in one goal all day and that was cos he was chewing gum.
There was a refreshment tent that sold bacon rolls, chocolate, teas and coffee and cakes. I had 4 cakes !
The field was very muddy by the time we finished. We came 2nd place by one point and all got silver medals.
