 Hi, I'm Brecon. I wasn't always called that when I lived with one of the scout leaders but the scouts changed my name when I went with them on my first scout camp. Could've been worse I suppose - they could've called me Pencelli which was where we stayed. I'm allowed to have a webpage for myself because I'm so special :D


I got invested by the climbing wall at Phasels, then made it all the way to the top with a bit of help

;)Last weekend I took part in the Mid Herts Night Hike, totally awesome! We had to go for a walk for about 10 miles and perform a number of bases. I lurved the Nerf Gun and Moving Nuclear Fuel Rods bases..........totally cool! I made a new friend on the walk, the mid Herts Explorers mascot Monkey..........Hi Monkey if you're reading this!

It took us 5 hoursand we went to bed with very tired legs (well the scouts did - I was supervising from the top of a ruksack!) In the morning we packed our thingsand went to the prze presentation. A great weekend became totally awesome when we found ou we'd won 1ST PLACE. I'm really looking forward to Nightjar now! :D;):D;)

I've had a brilliant week in the Lakes. It rained a bit, the sun came out and I had a go of all of the activities (apart from the day the scouts forgot me and left me in the tent!) -there's loads more photos of me on the photos page ;)

One more day to go before we're off to camp! Kits dropped off at HQ. Going to help get the camping stuff ready tomorrow. Can't decide what I want in my packed lunch hmmmmmm........tuna and mayo or sausages and HP sauce? :P

It was the last night of term on Thursday. Brill time toasting marshmallows and watching all the scouts get their badges.......two Chief Scout Gold Awards as well, awesome!

I'm getting sooooooooo excited! :D:P:D:P

Not long 'til we go to the Lakes. Kit check tonight. I just found my walking boots - they're caked in quite a bit of dry mud (I think it's from Nightjar!) I suppose I'd better clean them before Lesley sees them lol! Not too sure where I put my emergency rations after the Brecons camp. Is year old jelly ok do you reckon?

Thought I'd better re-arrange the photos from last years camp to the Brecons before I go to the Lakes with the scouts in three weeks time :)

July 2010

The trip was awesome. I bet I'm the only living bear that got to do canoeing! I was a bit worried in the minibus 'cos the seatbelt was tight around my neck - I survived though!

   

Here's me at The Big Pit (honestly!) I'm the little white blob sitting on the kerb. The scouts made me sit there - it's a good job there was no traffic.

And here's me on top of Pen Y Fan, my first ever mountain. It was a bit chilly - could've done with an extra fleece!
